It can be used 3 different ways:as a tea jug with a filter, as a sealed beverage container with a lid, and as a simple carafe to serve your beverage of choice. The 34 oz. body of the jug including the handle is made of heat resistant, ultra-light, crystal clear borosilicate glass. This is available with a plastic infuser. To brew, just add your favorite loose-leaf tea and fill half-way with water that is just off of a boil. Allow the tea to brew to your liking then remove the infuser and fill the jug with ice to cool and create a fresh, crisp iced-tea. Works with tea bags as well. The Bistro Iced Tea Maker is also a great infusing pitcher whether you are making infused water, sangria or juice. Dishwasher safe.
